Airport screener gets jail for theft from luggage

A Philadelphia woman was sentenced Monday to six months in prison for stealing $100 from carry-on luggage she was screening as a transportation security officer at Philadelphia International Airport, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. Kellie Johnson, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by government employee, admitting she stole the money from carry-on luggage she was screening on Oct. 22.
