Brick & Brew opens a pub in Media
Partners Tom Kane, Joe Hull, Mike Grubb, and Mike Kandravi are essentially replicating the menu of wood-fired brick-oven pizza, elevated pub fare, and a bar stocked with 12 crafts on draft and cocktails.
After three years in Havertown, the gastropub Brick & Brew has branched out to downtown Media, taking over the long-running Plumstead Inn, which closed last fall at 26 W. State St.
Partners Tom Kane, Joe Hull, Mike Grubb, and Mike Kandravi are essentially replicating the menu of wood-fired brick-oven pizza, elevated pub fare, and a bar stocked with 12 crafts on draft and cocktails (including "the Plumstead," made with Kraken rum, house-made Falernum No. 9, Aperol and fresh lime and pineapple juices.
This incarnation, which soon will get a deck just off State Street, is family friendly.
Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
