A 21-year-old woman from Delaware County was among four people killed when a plane operated by a training school crashed Thursday night at Palm Beach (Fla.) International Airport.

Jordyn Agostini, of Broomall, died in the crash, along with instructor Dheni "Jenny" Frembling, 26, of Melbourne, Fla., student Kristopher Henegar, 22, of Memphis, Tenn., and his brother, passenger Kyle Henegar, 26.

Agostini, a 2007 graduate of Marple Newtown High School, was due to graduate from Florida Tech's College of Aeronautics next month along with Kristopher Henegar.

The twin-engine Piper PA-44 arrived at the Palm Beach airport from the Bahamas to conduct a customs check, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said. After the customs check, the plane began its departure and crashed shortly after 6 p.m.

"Immediately after departure, the pilot communicated with the PBIA tower that they were experiencing problems," sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera said. "The plane crashed down after ascending at an undetermined height. As a result of the crash, the plane exploded and began to burn with all the occupants still inside the passengers' compartment."

Agostini's final message on her Facebook page, posted early Thursday morning, showed her excitement about her flight.

"flying to the bahamas with Kris as PIC!!![pilot in command]," she posted. "please don't text/call me from 8 am til about 8 pm . . . gonna be a great day!"
