Rodney Williams is one of the newest 76ers.

The undrafted rookie free agent out of Minnesota recently signed a partially guaranteed, multiyear contract with the Sixers, a team source confirmed.

The organization also announced the signings of first-round picks Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams on Tuesday. Noel, however, actually signed his contract Sept. 16.

Rodney Williams, a guard-forward, will be on the team's roster when it opens the season against the Miami Heat on Oct. 30.

Williams could spend a portion of this season with the Delaware 87ers, the Sixers' NBA Development League affiliate.

The 6-foot-7, 205-pounder high-flyer averaged eight points and 1.2 rebounds in July for the Sixers' Orlando Pro Summer League team. Williams averaged 10.1 points and five rebounds as a power forward at Minnesota last season.

Noel was drafted sixth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans and traded to Philadelphia on draft night. The 6-foot-11 center out of Kentucky is set to make $3,172,320 this season and $3,315,120 next season. The Sixers will have team options of $3,457,800 in 2015-16 and $4,384,490 in 2016-17.

Carter-Williams was selected 11th overall by the Sixers. The 6-6 point guard will make $2,200,920 this season and $2,300,040 next season. The Sixers have team options of $2,399,040 in 2015-16 and $3,183,526 in 2016-17.

Celtics tickets: Tickets for the Sixers' preseason game against the Boston Celtics on Oct. 11 at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center go on sale Wednesday.

Tickets can be purchased at Delaware's ticket office, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

The Sixers open the regular season at the Wells Fargo Center against the Miami Heat on Oct. 30.
